研究领域简介

      从事中生代植物学及陆相地层学研究,在中生代植物类群系统解剖、多样性演化、时空分布以及古气候环境背景等研究方面取得了重要进展和科研成果。主持承担国家自然科学基金、科技部973项目一级课题、中科院知识创新重要方向项目、中科院创新合作交叉团队项目以及国际合作项目等10余项。
     获得江苏省科学技术奖二等奖、国际侏罗系金菊石奖。发表论文近100篇,合作出版专著6部,主编国际和国内学术论文集和丛书6部。其中,SCI刊物收录论文50余篇,代表性成果被欧美权威教科书和重要专著等引用。 
      研究方向:中生代植物类群的解剖、多样性演化、时空分布以及古气候环境背景。主要包括:
1)真蕨植物化石比较解剖及原位孢子研究
2)裸子植物(银杏类、苏铁类和松柏类)解剖构造研究
3)中生代植物多样性、古生态、古气候与时空分布模式
4)中生代陆相生态系统的植被演替、气候事件与环境演化
5)中生代温室气候变化及古气候重建 
6)中生代微古植物与油气形成环境
