Research Areas
UHV vacuum development for particle accelerator, NEG coating, Nb coating on copper cavity, Plasma spraying.
NEG coating development for HEPS,and completed the massive NEG coating on the inner walls of chromium-zirconium-copper vacuum chambers for the high-energy synchrotron radiation light source (HEPS).
Responsible for the design and key technology development of the CEPC vacuum system,which included: developing low-impedance, long-life NEG coatings; establishing automated production lines for NEG and heating coatings; designing all-metal gate valves integrated with RF shielding; engineering large-scale vacuum chambers; and conducting in-depth studies on beam-influencing surface characteristics, such as Photon Stimulated Desorption (PSD) and Secondary Electron Yield (SEY).
