      兼任国家人间传染病原微生物实验室生物安全评审专家委员、西湖大学生物安全顾问委员会委员、湖北省侨联青年委员会委员; 首位获美国生物安全四级实验室(BSL-4,Galveston National Laboratory,University of Texas Medical Branch)准入资质的中国学者; Front Microbiol、BMC Infect Dis、Zoonoses和《中国热带医学》期刊编委,EMBO、PLoS NTD、BMC Genom和mSphere 等国际期刊审稿专家,国家自然科学基金函评专家。承担了国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金、科技部基础性工作专项重点项目、ASNO国际合作等项目。以第一作者/通讯作者(含共同)在Emerg Infect Dis、mSystem、Scientific Data、Rev Med Virol和PLoS NTD等国际重要科学期刊发表论文30余篇,主参编专著3本。

主要研究方向为虫媒病毒的的流行病学、传播风险评估与生物安全:

  (1) 开展虫媒病毒组的研究,明确不同地区不同节肢动物媒介中病毒组的组成丰度及差异;

  (2) 开展虫媒病毒的分离鉴定工作,并利用细胞、媒介和动物模型研究病毒的传播感染风险和致病性研究;

  (3) 利用大数据和机器学习开展新发病毒的媒介、宿主、和致病性的预测研究;

  (4) 生物安全实验室人员培训体系与节肢动物实验室生物安全标准规范研究。

科研活动

(1)开展我国(湖北、广东、云南、 新疆等)和境外(肯尼亚、巴基斯坦)野外蚊虫样本的采集和病毒组的调查研究,明确了我国湖北、云南主要优势蚊种中病毒组的组成丰度及差异;从我国蚊虫中成功分离到10余种病毒,包括版纳病毒(Banna virus)、环状病毒(Orbivirus)、Tanay 病毒、 Daknong virus、Mesonivirus 等,其中 C 型版纳病毒为国际上首次分离报道;

(2)建立了烈性虫媒病毒克里米亚-刚果出血热病毒的病毒-媒介蜱动物宿主感染模型和基于高通量测序方法的病毒种间进化分析平台,建立了致倦库蚊和白纹伊蚊的人工感染平台;

(3)完成了我国新分离蚊媒病毒如版纳病毒、艾比湖病毒等的生物学特征和致病性研究;
