Research Areas


Since joining the work of BGI-Shenzhen in July 2010, I have been engaged in genomics work, focusing on the bioinformatics research and big data mining of animal and plant genomes, including de novo genome assembly, population genetics, transcriptome and single cell sequencing data. 

I have published more than 100 scientific papers in internationally academic journals, such as Nature, Science, Cell, Nature Biotechnology, Nature Genetics and Nature Communications, including more than 30 co-first or co-corresponding authors published papers and was responsible for participated in two Chinese National Scientific Research Projects.
