Research Interest: Ocean circulation and climate change
E-mail: sjhu@qdio.ac.cn
Address: 7 Nanhai Road, Qingdao 266071
Research Areas
1. Ocean circulation dynamics
Multi-scale variability, dynamics, heat/freshwater transport and climate effect of tropical Indo-Pacific Ocean circulation.
2. Oceanic salinity processes
General feature, spatiotemporal varianility and physical mechanisms of salinity processes in the tropical Indo-Pacific Ocean, and the influence of salinity on ocean circulation and climate.
3. Regional and global climate change
Multi-scale variability of Indo-Pacific and global climate, with a focus on the intraseasonal to decadal variability in the Indo-Pacific Ocean, changes in regional and global ocean in response to global warming and their influecne on human society.
