Research Interests

1. Surveillance for avian influenza viruses (AIVs) in wild birds and domestic poultry to unveil the trend of circulation and diversity of AIVs in different hosts.

2. Unveil the key impact factor that influence the pathogenicity of AIVs in different hosts.

3. Design ideal universal vaccines for influenza virus and evaluate the effecacy of the universal vaccines in preventing lethal virus challenge in animal models.
