MA Bo obtained a PhD in analytical chemistry from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) in 2008. From 2008 to 2012, he did his postdoctoral research at in UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles), Texas A&M University and Rice University. In 2012 he joined Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology (QIBEBT), CAS as a faculty member. He is currently a professor and the leader of Microfluidic Systems Group in Single-Cell Center. He has published over 20 research papers on leading journals such as Analytical ChemistryLab on a Chip, and applied for more than 15 patents. He has served as regular reviewer for Lab on a ChipIntegrative Biology and Energy & Environmental Science.
