General

Zhiqiang Meng, PhD

Research Areas

Neural mechanisms of psychiatric diseases, such as drug addiction, anxiety and schizophrenia. We use classic behavioral and pharmacological approaches plus multi-unit recording and optogenetics in animal models to identify potential molecular target and circuitry for treatment and drug development.
