现任中科院软件所时空数据管理与数据科学研究中心(STDMS)的研究员、博导、主任。主要研究方向为数据库与知识库系统、时空感知大数据实时处理与智能分析、物联网与移动数据管理、灾害应急大数据管理等。主持研制了地理时空感知大数据实时处理与分析系统GSTRIA。是国务院政府特殊津贴获得者(2016)、青海省高层次领军人才(2016)、北京市特聘教授(2018)、中科院软件所二级研究员(2019)、特聘研究员(2020)。任IEEE Intelligent Transportation System Society的社会交通专委会主席、ACM SIGSPATIAL CHINA 副主席、国际刊物IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems编委。主持和核心参与国家级和省部级科研项目30余项。在国内外学术刊物发表论文150余篇,出版学术专著4部,获9项发明专利,制定国家标准1项。曾获国家优秀科技信息成果奖(1996)、北京市科技进步奖(2002、2020)等荣誉。
