1. Direct measurements of astrophysically important nuclear reactions: measure the nuclear reaction cross sections at stellar energies using high-intense beams at accelerators and study their impacts to nucleosynthesis in universe
2. Develop the detection methods in Solenoid magnet and Time Projection Chamber (TPC) techniques, focusing on the study of important (p,a) reactions in CNO cycle and (a,p), (a,d) reactions in stellar conditions
3. Develop the active-target TPC and extend its application in the studies of exotic nuclear structure and nuclear reactions
