Currently, I am running two projects in Xinjiang.
1. heavy metal-driven selection, transmission and health effect of antibiotic resistance genes in typical mining areas of Xinjiang (3,000,000 RMB, 2025-2027)
2. sustainable aquaculture technology development in Xinjiang based on microbiome research (450,000 RMB, 2025-2027)

Experience
I have a strong background in metagenomic data analysis and experiences in bioinformatics workflow development, molecular biology laboratory work, clinical observation, and fieldwork. I have been focusing on host-microbiota interactions to disentangle the relationship between human microbiota and a number of chronic diseases, and the microbial ecology in various types of environments (sea, lake, municipal water, air, mine, etc. ).
During the pandemic, I was working on Swedish SARS-CoV-2 genomic assembly and spatiotemporal analyses. Research interests: 1, environmental microbial ecology; 2,impact of fecal transplantation on resistome of human gut microbiota; 3, HPV infection and vaginal microbiota in women health
