Research Areas

The high energy nuclear physics group at UCAS conducts theoretical and experimental research on strongly coupled quark matter and the phase structure of QCD. The experimental group is currently involved in the RHIC–STAR, LHC–ALICE, NICA–NPD, and HIAF (Huizhou, China) experiments. Our research interests include (but not limited to) using heavy flavour, dilepton and strangeness to probe QCD phase structures as well as properties of hot and dense nuclear matter (e.g. their production and correlations).
