闪电是雷暴中的一种典型灾害性天气,每年夏季都会造成一定的社会经济损失。冰晶、霰粒等不同类型的水凝物在碰撞弹开,携带不同类型电荷,在流场作用下重新分布,形成云内电场。当云内电场足够强,就会产生闪电。(闪电的前世今生

闪电通道的VHF干涉成像

闪电会产生VLF-VHF宽频段电磁辐射,通过分布式阵列探测闪电产生的电磁信号,实现闪电的高分辨率探测,结合雷达、探空等其他资料,研究闪电相关的物理问题。
