原子分子激光光谱

• 气相分子的低能量电子激发态光谱

        利用激光诱导荧光光谱、电子振动跃迁发射光谱等技术，研究气相分子，尤其是过渡金属化合物自由基分子和离子，低能量电子激发态结构，获得分子结构常数，扩展分子的谱学结构知识，深刻认识那些可能存在于宇宙空间、放电、聚变等极端的等离子体环境中的自由基分子。

• 放射性核素原子超精细跃迁光谱

       利用共线激光光谱精确测量加速器核反应产生的放射性核素原子的超精细结构跃迁，通过精确测量原子中电子的运动获得原子核基态性质基本参数，包括核自旋、核矩、核电荷半径等。对于远离稳定谷的放射性核素的研究将帮助我们深刻理解核力的长程表现和特性，完善原子核结构模型。

超冷等离子体物理

• 强耦合等离子体

        通过磁光阱冷原子获得的超冷等离子体，具有温度极低的特性，其等离子体的演化由带电粒子间的库仑势主导，因此属于强耦合等离子体。相比激光聚变等离子体等其他强耦合等离子体，超冷等离子体具有温度低、演化时间长、空间尺度大、易于光学观测、实验装置相对简单等优点，是实验研究强耦合性质的绝佳选择。

• 1～1000K的低温碰撞

       利用磁光阱（原子阱）和四级杆阱（离子阱）的混合阱，可以开展低温下的原子离子碰撞研究，该碰撞能量是宇宙中最常见的温度范围，该研究有助于拓展我们对物理、化学、生物、宇宙学等学科的认识。
