Xijin Tang  received her BEng in computer science and engineering (1989) from Zhejiang University, 

MEng on management science and engineering (1992) from University of Science and Technology of China, 

and PhD (1995) from CAS Institute of Systems Science.

Professor Xijin Tang has been working in the CAS Institute of Systems Science and later in CAS Academy of Mathematics and Systems Sciences since July of 1995.

SHe had visiting in Georgia Institute of Technology during 1998-1999, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) during 2000-2001 as Visiting associate professor of Fujitsu Chair of Science of Complex Systems, University of Wollonggong in March of 2006 (supported by Australia Academy of Sciences),  Auckland University of Technology in  during May and June of 2012 (supported by 2012 China- NZ Scientist Exchange Program and Royal Society of New Zealand).

Knowledge management (for 1st year Master Degree students)

Opinion Big Data and Analytics (for 1st year Master Degree students)

During the Systems Analysis 2015's extensive and rigorous process of speaker nominations and selection, with the goal of identifying the very best experts in the field, Professor Xijin Tang was selected to give an invited presentation among 30 recognized leaders selected from about 200 nominations from the the conference’s partner organizations, including Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), in partnership with the Santa Fe Institute, United States, the Complexity Institute at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (INFORMS), United States.
