Research Interests

Zhuojun Xie’s research focuses on the Carlin-type Au deposits in China and Nevada, USA. He compares the Carlin-type Au deposits in Guizhou, China and Nevada, USA, identifies the similarities and key differences of the deposits in two districts, and investigates the key factors controlling the formation of Carlin deposit province. His research ultimately aims to improve genetic models for Carlin-type Au deposit formation and use the model for exploration.
