My research is centered on the mysterious continent of Africa. I have long been preoccupied with a series of questions:

What rare and exotic plants are hidden in this wild land of Africa? Why have they evolved to thrive in their specific habitats? In the face of global environmental changes, what survival crises do these species confront? And what measures can we take to protect them?

If you are captivated by the diverse forms of plants, cherish the unspoiled beauty of nature, and are passionate about the freedom of field surveys and treks through wild landscapes;

If you hold a deep enthusiasm for plant taxonomy, resource exploration, and biodiversity conservation in Africa,

then we are undoubtedly kindred spirits! I warmly welcome you to apply for my graduate program. Let us journey to Africa together and unlock the mysterious codes of the plant world!
