I had been acting as executive vice editor-in-chief of the journal S&T policy and development strategy (Chinese) from 2001 to 2011, and for many years had been co-responsible for organizing the annual science development report commissioned by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. My other research projects (of which I’m/was PI or Co-principal investigator) include:
●“a comparative study on research priority setting in several industrialized nations” and “tracking research on basic science policy and basic science development” under the auspices of National Natural Science Foundation of China
●“US basic research” under the auspices of Bureau of Basic Research, Ministry of Science and Technology of China
●“Research on S&T awarding system in foreign countries” and ”international comparison of research funding systems in typical countries” under the auspices of Bureau of Comprehensive Planning, the Chinese Academy of Sciences
●“Research on S&T related issues which the main international agencies (UNESCO, WB, OECD, EU, ICSU, et al.) follow with interest” under the auspices of Bureau of Comprehensive Planning, the Chinese Academy of Sciences
