主要从事区域气候变化及其驱动机制、植被对气候变化的响应与反馈等方面的研究。主持国家自然科学基金，国家重点研发计划项目子课题，吉林省自然科学基金等项目8项，发表SCI论文50余篇，其中第一作者或通讯作者在Earth's Future，Agricultural Water Management，Journal of Plant Ecology等领域主流期刊发表SCI论文16篇，授权发明专利3项，登记软件著作权4项，参编专著1部，获吉林省科技进步一等奖1项。
