Research Areas

Evolutionary Ecology

Current researches including:

We focus on question of “how plant-animal coevolution influences the traits evolution and species diversity”.  Multiple ecological and evolutionary methods and analyses, from pollination biology, insect behavior, chemical ecology, meta-analysis, phylogeny and multiple-omics, will be used if necessary, to solve the question. We mainly take fig-fig wasp-other animals as system.

Current researches including:

1) Ecological drivers and molecular mechanism behind the process of the traits evolution and species diversification with that pollinator host-switches and plant hybridization.

2) How coevolution influence the plant or animal community under changing environment.

3) Geographic mosaic effect on fig-fig wasp coevolution.

4) Process and evolutionary outcome of dynamic interaction among interactions.
