研究兴趣包括密码系统在新场景下的应用、密码设备安全分析等，先后主持国家自然科学基金1项，国家重点研发计划1项，省部级项目1项，作为核心人员研制国家标准1项，密码行业标准3项，已授权发明专利5项，欧洲专利2项，累计在包括IEEE TIFS、ESORICS、ICCD、DASFAA等国内外学术期刊和会议发表学术论文近30篇。此外，带领团队参加了侧信道密码分析领域国际著名学术大赛DPA Contest v4.2阶段竞赛，并获得多项第1名的成绩。
