主要研究领域 

1. 大数据分析。研究大数据分析方法及其在网络优化、日志分析、远洋航运、航空调度等方面的应用。已经为华为、中国移动、大唐移动、中远集团、中航信等大型企业开展过有关项目研究。

2. 移动通信网络优化。在移动通信无线网络场强预测覆盖、话务分布、干扰分析、频率规划、话务量调整、参数优化等方面取得了成果；

3. 网络最优设计。主要进行大规模计算机网络和通信网络的优化设计研究。特别是在扩展deBruijn 图和扩展Kautz 图的研究方面已取得成果；

4. 布尔函数的判定树复杂性研究。对其中的核心问题-Karp猜想和Rivest-Vuillemin猜想的研究，取得了某些重要进展；

5. 光纤通信网络优化。对光纤通信网络的设计和资源的优化配置有较深入的研究。特别是在波长转换器的最优配置及网络总体性能分析等方面取得了成果。曾在香港城市大学进行有关课题的合作研究； 

6. 大规模骨干路由器的结构设计和调度算法。主要研究了无阻塞和广义无阻塞交换网络的设计问题。在大规模骨干路由器的结构设计和调度算法方面取得了重要成果； 

7. 无线传感器网络优化: 主要研究无线传感器网络节点定位、节能传输路由和结构、传输可靠性等问题取得了研究成果; 

8. 三网融合和新媒体网络中的优化问题：主要研究新一代网络中副本放置、快速搜索等优化问题；

9. 危险化学品事故致灾减灾机理研究：主要进行危险化学品事故致灾范围预测方法及事故后应急处理管理决策等方面的研究。
