 从事孢粉、植硅体、炭屑分析,旨在重建新生代以来植被、环境变化史和揭示人类活动的环境考古为主题的研究。

1) 新近纪孢粉地层学研究;2) 第四纪植被-气候、森林-火及其与史前稻作文化的相互关系;3) 植物花粉雨及表土花粉与植被关系研究。
