Laser Principles and Technology:

Core Content: Research on the physical principles of lasers, including the generation, amplification, modulation,

and transmission of light.

Research Opportunities: Develop new types of lasers and explore their applications in medicine, communication,

precision manufacturing, and spectral analysis.

Skill Requirements: Optical design, electronic engineering, computer simulation, experimental skills, etc.


Metamaterials and Design:

Core Content: Research on artificial materials with special electromagnetic properties, which can control the

propagation of waves through precisely designed microstructures.

Research Opportunities: Design new types of metamaterials and explore their applications in stealth technology,

sensors, optical devices, and other fields.

Skill Requirements: Material science, electromagnetic theory, micro-nano processing technology, computational

simulation, etc.


Advanced Topological Theory and Experiment:

Core Content: Use theoretical models to predict and design materials with novel topological properties. Analyze

topological phenomena using mathematical tools such as algebraic geometry, group theory, and homology.

Research Opportunities: Form an understanding of topological physical phenomena through theory and experiment,

promoting the development of fundamental physics. Apply topological theory to interdisciplinary fields

such as quantum information, condensed matter physics, and materials science.

Skill Requirements: Mastery of theoretical physics knowledge, including quantum mechanics, condensed matter physics,
