Research Areas

Gas-liquid mass transfer intensification

The gas-liquid mass transfer process accompanied by chemical reaction and the intensification means and mechanism are investigated within the process from chemical reaction to inter-phase mass transfer.

Decarbonization and desulfurization,
Remove H2S、SO2、CO2 from natural gas, refinery gas, and industrial emissions and investigate the selective absorption of H2S with multi-acid gases coexisting. The high gravity technology is employed to enhance gas-liquid mass transfer and improve the selectivity.

Process intensification within membrane separation technology
Apply the principle and technique of process intensification to the water treatment process. Based on original membrane separation technology we aim at improving and developing new equipment and new technology.
