
Qian Qingli, a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He mainly engages in research related to green chemistry and has made systematic and original achievements in the field of CO2 transformation and utilization. He has developed new reaction routes, novel catalysts, and new catalytic mechanisms for efficient synthesis of alcohols, carboxylic acids, hydrocarbons, and other important chemicals and fuels from catalytic CO2 hydrogenation. He has published over 70 papers in internationally renowned journals such as Acc. Chem. Res., Nat. Commun., PNAS, Chem., Natl. Sci. Rev., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., JACS, Chem. Sci., and Green Chem., and he has obtained over 20 Chinese patents for invention. Many of his achievements have been highlighted or previewed by Nat. Catal., C&EN, Chem. World, and Chem., etc. and one of his achievements was listed as one of the top 8 high-impact papers by the editorial team of Chem magazine on its 5th anniversary. He has led and participated in a number of projects from National Key Research and Development Program of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and enterprise. He has won the National Technological Invention Award, the Outstanding Achievement Award in Science and Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the China Patent Gold Award, and the Beijing Science and Technology Award.
