Graduate Student Recruitment

1. Research Platforms & Resources

  • Based at the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis Fundamentals and the National Engineering Research Center of Catalysis, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
  • Proven track record in catalyst/initiator design for synthetic rubber, polymerization methodology, molecular architecture design & fabrication, polymer processing & properties, and industrial translation. The group has led 10 + projects funded by the National Key R&D Program, Defense S&T Bureau, NSFC, PetroChina, and other partners.
  • 10 + sets of polymerization and monomer/solvent-purification equipment (continuous & batch pilot lines, high-pressure autoclaves, gloveboxes, gas storage and purification systems, solvent refining units), enabling        seamless scale-up from lab to pilot.
  • 30 + characterization instruments including UV-Vis, FT-IR, GPC, DSC, laser particle analyzer, GC, plus physical-property        platforms such as DMA and universal testing machines.

Hardware and funding are abundant—what we truly need are researchers      who can ask original questions and challenge prevailing paradigms.

2. Annual Intake (including other faculty members in the center)

ProgramQuota (per year)Route
