Research Areas

His research mainly focuses on "marine security and strategic resource development", and uses scientific and technological infrastructure such as cold spring ecosystem research devices, natural gas hydrate drilling and production vessels, and extreme marine autonomous observation systems to carry out cutting-edge cross research on marine energy and resources, island and reef steady state safety and healthy development, marine geological disaster prevention, marine technology and engineering, smart oceans and comprehensive utilization. He is good at processing and interpretation of integrated geophysical, gravity, magnetic, and electric seismic data, and tackling frontier scientific problems such as global ocean multi sphere and Geodynamics processes. In recent years, he has led general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and projects of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China; Published over 50 papers and participated in the writing of one monograph. The relevant achievements have been published in top international geosciences journals such as National Science Review, Gondwana Research, Tectonophytics, Journal of Geophysical Research, and Marine Pollution Bulletin. Among them, there are more than ten first/corresponding author papers, with a total of 1271 citations and an H-index of 13. One of the collaborating papers has been rated as one of the top 1% highly cited papers by ESI globally, and has received high praise from peers both domestically and internationally.
