Postdoctor: October 1995—December 1996, University of Oklahoma, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, U.S.A., Prof. Kenneth M. Nicholas’s research group and worked on the fixation of CO₂ using transition metal complexes.

Research Assistant: April 1993—October 1995, Research Laboratory of Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Gifu Pharmaceutical   University, Japan and worked on the asymmetric synthesis, drug design, and molecular recognition.
