Mainly working on supermassive black holes (SMBHs) and related astrophysics. The main achivements: 1) proposed a cosmological evolution formula for the SMBH spin parameter and found the evidence for random accretion and "downsizing" behaviour; 2) developed a comprehensive framework for jointly analysis of spectroastrometry and reverberation mapping, which can more thoroughly probe the geometry and kinematics of broad-line regions (BLR); 3) developed BLR dynamical modeling approach and proposed several noval methods for data calibration and reverberation mapping analysis (refer to github link).
