Experience

Shuo Han received his Ph.D. from the University of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the University of California, Berkeley. In 2025, he returned to the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he currently serves as a Young Researcher.

He played a leading role during the LHC Run 2 and Run 3 data-taking periods in the precision measurement of Higgs boson properties in the diphoton channel, the establishment of evidence for the Higgs boson decay to a Z boson and a photon, and the discovery of four-top-quark production. He previously served as a convener of the Higgs-photons group in the ATLAS experiment.

Since joining IHEP in 2025, his research has focused on the CMS and CEPC experiments. His main interests include precision Higgs physics, top-Higgs interactions, machine learning applications in high-energy physics, and the next-generation Higgs factory experiments.
