研究领域

1. 实验室天体物理 利用实验室测量来检验天体观测及分析模型的可靠性,并利用实验来直接验证天体观测,以模拟天体中所发生的物理过程
2. 等离子体光谱   电子束离子阱、聚变托克马克、高能量强激光所产生热等离子体以及炽热天体等离子体光谱研究。
3. 等离子体诊断 通过分析光谱了解等离子体的特征,比如:等离子体的电子(离子)密度和温度、电荷态分布、等离子体的加热机制、能量的转移输运等。
4. 恒星物理(星冕) 通过分析卫星观测到的X射线及极紫外光谱,了解辐射区的环境、各化学组份的丰度、进而推断等离子体的加热机制及恒星高能辐射区的空间结构,以及天体等离子体动力学
5.原子/离子结构 考虑相对论效应情况下理论计算原子/离子的结构,即能级和辐射衰减速率, 以及实验光谱确定其能级
6.电子-高离化态离子相互作用动力学 利用高效并行程序(R-矩阵/扭曲波)计算电子-离子碰撞激发、电离、复合(辐射复合和双电子复合),以及光电离等原子参数
