Honors & Distinctions
In recent years, Prof. Dr. Jian Chen has presided over and completed a number of provincial and ministerial scientific research projects and industrial application projects, totaling more than 30 projects. The work of high-specific energy lithium batteries and battery energy storage systems have been published in well-known international journals in related fields, such as "Nature Communications", "Energy Storage Materials" and "Journal of Materials Chemistry A". More than 100 patents have been applied and 2 achievements were identified. Among them, Lithium-sulfur batteries were implemented technology transformation in Dalian, and the first domestic Lithium-sulfur battery professional production company was established to achieve industrial battery production
Prof. Dr. Jian Chen has successively won the first prize of scientific and technological progress of China National Light Industry Council in 2020, the second prize of the State Technological Innovation Award in 2015, the Distinguished Scientific Achievement Award of Chinese Academy of Science in 2014 (main completer), the first prize of Liaoning Provincial Technological Invention Award in 2009, and the first prize of Dalian Science and Technology Progress Award in 2016.
