Huashan Chen is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Information Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he also serves as a master’s supervisor and doctoral co-supervisor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include virtual reality security and augmented reality security, with a particular focus on vulnerability analysis and identity authentication. He has been selected for a national overseas talent program and serves as a member of a high-level expert group on cybersecurity protection under a ministry’s 15th Five-Year Plan. He has published more than 30 papers in prestigious international journals and conferences, including CSUR, TDSC, TIFS, TMC, TKDE, KDD, and SIGIR. As principal investigator, he has led more than 10 major research projects, including national-level science and technology initiatives. Research reports he authored have also been adopted by central government offices. In addition, he serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Digital Crime and Forensics (IJDCF), reviews for more than 20 SCI-indexed international journals, and has served on the program committees of major international conferences such as ASE and ACM MM. He is also Chair of the Organizing Committee of the International Conference on Science of Cyber Security (SciSec).
