2005年博士毕业于中国科学技术大学近代物理系原子与分子物理专业,同年到上海光机所量子光学重点实验室做博士后,合作导师王育竹院士,2011年入选首届中科院青年创新促进会会员,2012年至2013年在英国伯明翰大学做访问学者,2015年入选首届中科院青年创新促进会优秀会员。

多年来一直从事冷原子物理、量子频标等量子精密测量方面的研究。作为项目负责人和子课题负责人先后主持了国家自然科学面上基金、国家自然科学重点基金、国家863计划、卫星导航等国家重大项目。

国内首次,国际第二实现了积分球冷却原子;研制成功了积分球冷原子钟原理样机和工程样机,其长期稳定度达到了优于2E-15的国际先进水平;积分球冷原子钟同时具有高的稳定度和准确度,将高精度积分球冷原子钟应用于国家时频体系,将会进一步提高我国导航定位系统的定位精度和自主运行能力,同时高精度积分球冷原子钟可应用于深空自主导航。

2020年,提出了基于全光冷原子的里德堡激发方案,并初步完成了微波电场探测的原理验证实验,后期将开展高精度微波电场探测的实验和理论研究。
