Research Interests

The overarching theme of my research is to better understand the physical and chemical processes of aerosol particles, which determine the properties of aerosol particles and their effects on atmospheric chemistry, radiative forcing and climate, air quality and public health, biogeochemistry, and etc. By combination of laboratory studies and field measurements, I have been using to approach this goal. Currently I am very interested in the following research topics:

1)  Identification of organic molecular markers

2) Characterization of single and bulk aerosol particles

3) In-cloud processes of aerosol particles

4) Aqueous reaction mechanism of secondary organic aerosol formation
