Research Areas
Dr. Cong Liu has long focused on the pathogenic mechanisms and intervention strategies of pathological protein aggregates in neurodegenerative diseases. By integrating chemical biology, molecular imaging, and clinical medicine, his work systematically elucidates the disease-driving mechanisms of pathological aggregates and the molecular basis of small-molecule recognition and modulation. Building on these insights, he has developed original PET tracers and explored multidimensional intervention strategies, advancing innovations in early diagnosis and targeted therapy and providing new tools for early detection and treatment of these diseases.
