Research Interests

1. Sedimentary processes of typical marginal seas around Asia (e.g., Philippine Sea, Arabian Sea, East China Sea, and East/Japan Sea);
2. Paleoenvironmental significance (e.g., Asian monsoon, riverine influx, paleoproductivity, and Kuroshio Current/Tsushima Warm Current, etc.) of marine sedimentological and geochemical indices, especially for grain size, clay minerals, redox-sensitive elements, provenance-indicating elements, TOC/TN, and isotopes (e.g., Nd and Sr isotopes);
3. Paleoceanographical reconstruction (e.g., SST, deep ocean temperature, and DOT, etc) in the West Pacific based on foraminiferal community structure, elemental ratios (e.g., Mg/Ca), and isotopes (e.g., O and C isotopes).
