Research Interests

My research interests include theoretical research on atmospheric dynamics (potential vorticity), climate dynamics of the Tibetan Plateau, and the dynamics of changes in atmospheric jets. Currently, my main research focus on the theoretical study of the influences of key potential vorticity generation processes over the Tibetan Plateau on the weather and climate. Please feel free to email me at shengchen@lasg.iap.ac.cn if your are interested.
