Research Areas
Na Wang has dedicated her research on theoretical, simulation and experimental studies of high intensity beam effects. She has been leading the research on impedance and collective effects in HEPS and CEPC. She was involved in the beam commissioning of HEPS, commissioning and operation of BEPCII, design of CSNS, and impedance studies on HL-LHC at CERN. Focusing on the related studies, she established a series of impedance theoretical models, proposed low-impedance design solutions for key accelerator components, developed impedance measurement methods, and introduced an arc-surface beam collimator design that effectively reduces uncontrollable beam losses in CSNS.
