Dr. Yongqiang Guo is an associate professor of physical geography at Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has doctor degree from Shaanxi Normal University. His research focuses on palaeoflood hydrology, geoarchaeology, OSL dating, geomorphology and Holocene environment change. He is author of ca. 50 scientific publications, mainly published on international journals. Recently, palaeoflood investigation in the large rivers of Southwest China having been carried out around the Tibetan Plateau.
