艾里西尔·库尔班  理学博士  中国科学院新疆生态与地理研究所 研究员
维吾尔族,出生于1966年,新疆乌鲁木齐人。他于20174月被推选为比利时皇家海外科学院通讯院士(corresponding member),在国际地图学协会ICA地图学与GIS应用于可持续发展委员会、荒漠化网络国际组织(DNI)、国际环境信息科学学会(ISEIS),亚洲地理学会和中国地理学会等学术组织专家。主要从事遥感与地理信息系统在干旱区生态与环境研究中的应用研究,研究区域包括中国西部干旱区、中亚和东非。主持和参加国家和省部级以及国际合作科研项目20多项,包括国家和自治区自然科学基金、国家973项目、中国科学院国际合作局对外合作重点项目以及美国NASA、德国DFGBMBF、大众基金会和欧盟Erasmus+等国际合作项目。第一作者出版中文专著1部,参与编写中英文专著4部,并在国内外学术刊物和国际学术会议上发表论文50多篇。培养研究生30余名。于2016年,获得第三十三届国际地理大会(IGC2016)突出贡献(个人)奖,获得省部级科技进步二等奖3项、三等奖1项、省部级学会一等奖1项。
