General

Amin Naboureh, Ph.D., is a Master’s Supervisor and Associate Researcher at the Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on remote sensing monitoring and the simulation of human–land systems.

Dr. Naboureh has published more than 50 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, including over 20 as first or corresponding author in leading journals in remote sensing and geoscience, such as International Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation, GIScience & Remote Sensing, Catena, and Scientific Data. His work has been recognized through several awards, including the Young Scientist Award from the International Society for Digital Earth, the Outstanding International Student and Graduate Awards from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Sichuan Province Foreign High-Level Talent Award. He has led several research projects, including projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Foreign Scholar Research Fund and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology Foreign Expert R&D Program, as well as sub-projects under the NSFC International (Regional) Cooperation and Exchange Program.
