Research Interests

We are interested how proteins and nucleic acids take up various shapes while performing their functions.

To this end, we employ both experimental and computational appraoches, and we use a combination of biochemical and biophysical techniques, including but not limted to nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), chemical cross-linking coupled with mass spectrometry, single-molecule fluorescence resonance energy transfer (smFRET).

Currently we are investigating how K63-linked polyubiquitin mediates cell siganaling and how methylation affects RNA dynamics.
