Research Areas

In view of the bottleneck issues encountered in non-destructive testing of complex media or structures, in high-tech fields such as composite materials in aerospace applications, electronics packaging devices, new energy batteries, and additive manufacturing metals, we are engaged in researches of principles and methods of ultrasonic excitation/propagation/reception, new methods and instruments for phased array ultrasonic/laser ultrasonic testing, high-resolution and high-precision ultrasonic imaging algorithms, new methods for in-situ non-destructive ultrasonic measurement of material mechanical properties, and new type ultrasonic transducers.
