       海洋信息技术是人类海洋活动的主要技术支撑之一。相对于电磁波和光波,声波具有传播衰减小、传输距离远的优势,是人类已知的应用最成熟、广泛的水下信息载体。开展水声信号处理技术研究对于人类海洋事业的发展具有重要意义。

       水声信号处理技术研究的挑战来自于应用环境的开放性,体现为海洋环境时空变化特性带来的信道不确定性和环境噪声的随机性等,当前发展水平难以满足实际应用需求,属于国际重大技术难题。

       人工智能、大数据分析、计算机视觉等技术近年来在诸多领域得到广泛应用,并取得了瞩目的成果,将之与水声信号处理技术结合是提升相关技术水平的有效途径,具备产生重大突破的潜力。研究课题将围绕基于人工智能与图像处理技术的水声信号处理技术展开,培养对象可以根据个人知识背景与兴趣爱好开展以下方向研究:

  1. 基于机器学习的水声通信相关技术研究,包括但不限于信道估计、通信编码技术、通信性能预报等;
  2. 基于图像模式识别技术的水声目标探测相关技术研究,包括但不限于目标特征提取与分析、目标定位、目标跟踪等;
  3. 其他水声信号处理基础技术研究:波束形成、噪声抑制、直达波抑制等。
      培养工作将以培养具备国际视野与科研能力的人工智能海洋信息技术交叉复合型人才为目标。在完成必要基础课程后,培养对象将在中科院声学所声场声信息国家重点实验室开展课题研究。实验室具备国际先进的水声研究设备、平台和实验场,具备开展大型远洋科考的能力。课题组与法国国家科学研究中心、加泰罗尼亚理工大学等国际一流科研机构建立起了长期稳定的合作关系,培养对象将有机会与世界顶尖科学家进行直接交流。
