Yin Zhang obtained his B.S. degree from Lanzhou University in 2014 and earned a Ph.D. degree from Peking University in 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Zhiyong Tang and Prof. Hailin Peng. He then worked at the University of South Florida and University of North Texas with Prof. Shengqian Ma as a postdoctoral research associate until August 2025. After that, Yin moved to Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and worked with Prof. Yanli Zhao as a research associate. He joined the School of Nanoscience and Engineering at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) as the principal investigator in February 2026. His interest lies in the design and preparation of functional chiral porous assembly for substantial applications including asymmetric catalysis, enantioselctive separation, and chiral optoelectronics and spintronics.
