Research Areas
Atmospheric Science‑Chemistry‑Healthy Environment
Our group's research spans atmospheric science-chemistry-healthy environment. We focus on atmospheric chemistry and climate impacts, cloud microphysics and extreme-weather responses, environmental health risks, and coordinated air-pollution and carbon mitigation through mechanistic studies of atmospheric oxidative capacity, interfacial reactive species formation, and pollutant transformation across environmental media, while advancing instrument development and technology translation. We also develop environmental catalytic materials, catalysts for high-impact weather modification, and technologies for cloud-water resource management, and advance integrated approaches to air-pollution and carbon mitigation. We further establish health risk assessment frameworks for multi-pollutant co-exposure to advance health-oriented continuous improvement of air quality. By connecting fundamental understanding with technology development, we aim to support regional air-quality improvement, climate-change mitigation, and the protection of public health.
