Scientific research at the Guiyang Institute of Geochemistry （GYIG） benefits from the university’s large network of institutional partnerships, both within China and internationally. 

Our mercury work group is running several  programmes with  Geneva university in Switzerland,Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, CAS, Guizhou normal Univercsity and  Institute of Guizhou Aquaculture Research . At the same time, our educational collaboration continues to be mainly a matter of exchanging or inviting professors, researchers and students, with the assistance of programmes such as SSSTC(Suisse-Sino Joint Research Projects) , or in partnership with other institutions (cooperation agreements, academic networks).
