研究领域

1、资源植物基因组编辑育种

以芍药科芍药属(牡丹和芍药)、小浆果(树莓、蓝莓、蓝靛果、黑加仑)、燕麦、木本油料作物(山桐子)、景天属(伴矿景天、东南景天)等野生资源和特色资源植物为研究材料,建立其组培快繁技术方法,构建其遗传转化技术平台,针对控制其重要的农艺性状、品质特性、环境适应性等相关的关键基因,进行基因组编辑育种,利用现代分子技术手段培育出高观赏价值、高营养价值、高抗逆性等新品种。 

2、植物吸收、转运重金属及信号应答的分子机理

以重金属(如镉、砷等)超积累植物和模式植物(水稻、拟南芥)为材料,利用分子生物学和生物信息学的研究手段和方法,挖掘和克隆植物转运重金属相关的重要基因,阐明重金属在植物个体及器官、组织、细胞中转移运输的分子机理,应用基因技术调控重金属在植物中的转运和积累;同时研究植物激素(如生长素、赤霉素、乙烯等)和myo-肌醇多磷酸信号在重金属逆境胁迫及其对植物生长发育影响中的作用和功能,揭示重金属对植物的毒害机理和植物细胞的应答机制及信号传导。
